vPresentation does not sell, rent or provide email lists to its clients. We require that our clients only send to recipients who have granted permission, or opted-in to receive information by email.
What Is Spam?
Spam is an email message that has not been specifically requested by a recipient. Spam is also referred to as unsolicited commercial email (UCE), or bulk mail, and typically does not offer any way for the recipient to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
The new U.S. anti-spam law ( CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 ) which went into effect on January 1, 2004 has specific requirements about sending commercial emails and empowers the government to enforce the law with penalties that can include a fine and/or imprisonment.
Our Anti-spam Policy
vPresentation has a zero-tolerance spam policy. Spam is a violation of vPresentation's terms of service. We employ strict anti-spam policies and only allow customers who comply with permission guidelines to use our solutions. If you know of a violation, or believe that you have received UCE from vPresentation or anyone using its system, please notify us immediately at email@example.com.
vPresentation clients are required to use our system for permission-based emails only. Permission-based emails are those that are relevant, personal, expected and often associated with a "pre-existing” relationship.
Our clients agree not to post, upload or otherwise transmit any content, program or script that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
vPresentation reserves the right to audit each client's compliance with this anti-spam policy by means including, but not limited to, reviewing internal records of a client's broadcasts, or by requiring a customer to provide their own records to vPresentation. At its sole discretion, vPresentation may terminate service, refuse to send a customer's broadcast or take additional actions to assure compliance with this anti-spam Policy.
Before uploading any lists onto our system, our clients agree that the list is solely permission-based and the recipients on the list have agreed to receive emails from them.
Every email generated from VEMS contains our clients' contact information as well as an “unsubscribe” link which automatically updates our clients' subscriber lists . vPresentation automatically blocks all unsubscribed addresses from future email campaigns from that client's account. After each email delivery, vPresentation makes available online reports to its client showing among other data, all unsubscribe requests.
